Weather this week is warmer than normal and it appears to last, even after a cold front passes by on Wednesday. Low to mid-50s until Thursday with the front, around the mid-30s. It warms back up for the weekend, potentially back into the 50s.
What’s Going On in the Weather World?
Many may be wondering about the snowstorm a few weeks back that never was. What had happened was an unexpected dropoff of the weather models showing more of a NYC snowstorm rather than a Boston snowstorm. There were shifts to the south before, but 24 hours before, we went from a jackpot snowstorm to a dusting. It shows that weather prediction, no matter how better we get, we are still in its infancy. We still need to calibrate prediction so something this unpredictable doesn’t happen again.
