The second annual Student Council Pickleball Tournament was held Friday, May 8th, at Greathouse. The event brought together 40 teams for an evening of competition, school spirit, and fundraising in support of the CJ Cronin Foundation.
The tournament featured a competitive bracket-style format, where students competed in a series of 10-minute matches throughout the event. In addition to the tournament itself, teams were encouraged to participate in a “best-dressed” costume competition, adding an additional level of excitement and creativity to the night.
After a competitive 20-minute championship match, Tyler Supzack and Colin Purcell were crowned the tournament champions. In addition, Lucy Haile and Reese Magee earned the title of Best Dressed with their dazzling Rapunzel-themed costumes, which quickly became a crowd favorite.
The event built upon the success of last year’s tournament and highlighted the Student Council’s efforts to create engaging events while also supporting meaningful causes within the community.
