Weather for the Week
After a rainy start Monday, we continue the week on a settled basis. A nice fall week with fall temperatures in the low to mid-70s. Every day from Tuesday through the weekend looks like the pick of the week. The nights will be cooler, in the higher 40s. It’s shaping up to be the week to change over to fall from summer, at least for now.
What’s Going on in the Weather World?
Before I tell you what’s going on in the weather world, I figured I would introduce myself to any new readers. So hello, I’m Sam Ey. I’m a Junior here at Chaug and the Smoke Signals’ Weatherman. I will be trying to do the weather here each school week and a little thing about what’s going on elsewhere. So this week we had Hurricane Lee strike Nova Scotia on Saturday. Despite bracing for the worst, Nova Scotia, Maine, and portions of New England had small impacts, feeling some power outages and big waves.
