What’s Going on in the Weather World?
The Atlantic tropical season has been dormant for the past few weeks but is waking up rapidly. A disturbance, Potential Tropical Cyclone 6 is forecast to become a hurricane and barrel into Southern Louisiana on Wednesday night. The Gulf of Mexico is very moist and hot this year, giving any storms that form an opportunity to form rapidly. Anyone interested in Southern LA should be wary of this storm, as winds are projected to be 100 mph+. In addition, two other disturbances are off in the main development area of the Atlantic, which will need to be monitored.
