Weather For the Week
After an above-average week of temperatures last week, we finally settled down into a nice fall week. Wednesday is the warmest, at 66 degrees. The weekend looks rainy and cold, with highs in the 50s. Cold nights as low as 39 degrees.
What’s Going on in the Weather World?
A series of earthquakes have rocked the world over the past few days. Earthquakes in Japan caused a small tsunami, causing some damage. Another, in Afghanistan, has killed over 1,000. Lastly, one near Seattle, Washington State has raised some concerns about the dormant Mt. St. Helens volcano, which last erupted on May 18th, 1980.
