Minnechaug’s Class of 2024 will hold their first fundraiser of the school year beginning Monday, December 6.

Their main focus for the event? Books.

The sophomore council plans to distribute and sell Tastebooks, a discount dining and delivery book featuring hundreds of special coupon offers for local retail attractions in Western Massachusetts. For only $25 a packet, buyers can save anywhere from 10-15% off to buy-one-get-one offers on eateries and entertainment such as Interskate 91 and Big Y.

The Class of 2024 is encouraging students to participate in the fundraiser by selling Tastebooks to friends and relatives and are offering one senior point (equivalent to $1 off their future prom ticket) for each book sold. Furthermore, Tastebooks can also be purchased in-person at Rice’s Fruit Farm and Garvey’s Nutrition on the following dates:

Rice’s Fruit Farm: Saturday, December 11 @ 9 AM – 12PM | Sunday, December 12 @ 9 AM – 12 PM

Garvey’s Nutrition: Saturday, December 18 @ 9 AM – 12PM
